Concord Hospital Health System welcomes Bruce Carrier as its new Chief Human Resources Officer. With nearly 30 years of human resources experience, Bruce brings exceptional leadership and strategic vision to the organization.

Previously, Bruce served as chief human resources officer at the University of Michigan Health-West/Metro Health, where he led human resource policies to meet strategic goals, fostering a supportive, innovative, and high-performing culture.

“Bruce is a valuable addition to our leadership team,” said President and CEO Robert P. Steigmeyer. “His wealth of experience and proven track record will greatly benefit our organization as we continue to grow and evolve.”

In his new role, Bruce will oversee strategic human resources initiatives, talent acquisition, employee relations, organizational development, compensation and benefits, and compliance with accrediting bodies and local, state, and federal laws.

Bruce holds a Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in employee relations from the College of Social Science at Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI, and a Professional in Human Resources certification from the Society for Human Resources Management.
